OutlookAddressBookView is a free email utility that displays all recipients details in the address books of Microsoft Outlook. ![]() The web version is reliable, works with plug-ins and the Contacts feature is excellent (for my use) - it is almost as good as the old People Hub on Windows Phone, but not quite if they add contact tagging in OneDrive photos then it will be damn close. I'll consider using it when it doesn't need to bump me out to the web to access features that should be in the desktop client eg: Todo's, Notes, Moca. On the servers we need to force an update of the GAL, all address lists and offline address books with the following commands: Get-GlobalAddressList Update-GlobalAddressList. I open the Mac client now and again just to see what is new. If we made changes to the GAL or address lists that we want users to see ASAP, we need to do two things. I have to use Parallels to run the Windows version occasionally when I need to do things the web version can't (eg: bulk email and contact admin). The outlook Mac client has been going through some major growing pains in the past year or so, the "new" version looks pretty but it is missing so much functionality that its not much good for users who rely on deeper integrations and the features present in the "old" version (which is where the real value lies). ![]()
